Series Description | This series contains portraits by African American photographers such as Addison Scurlock (1883-1964), Howard University's official photographer, and his sons George (1919-2005) and Robert (1916-1994), preeminent photographers of African Americans in the Washington D.C. area. L.G. Hyman (b. 1896) was an African American photographer and instructor at Tuskeegee University. |
