Description Billy Taylor (1921-2010) was an American jazz pianist, composer, broadcaster and educator. In this interview, Taylor reflects on his discovery of jazz, which preceded a long and varied career in music. Also discussed are fellow musicians Dizzy Gillespie, Art Tatum and Charlie Parker.
